Chat Mod

Lunar Client’s Chat mod adds much-needed quality-of-life features to Minecraft’s most used feature—the chat. For example, you can prevent spam messages from flooding your chat, filter profanity, and more! You can enable the Chat mod by navigating to RShift > Mods > Chat. The Unlimited Chat feature makes your Minecraft chat unlimited—meaning that the chat will no longer cut off after a certain length. You can now scroll to the very beginning of the chat! As mentioned above, you can hide repeated messages so that your chat will no longer become clogged by enabling the Stack Spam Messages option. Additionally, another handy feature of Lunar Client’s Chat mod is that it can prevent the chat box from being closed by servers. This preserves any text inside the chat box upon a server or lobby change. The Chat mod can also play a sound every time your Minecraft username is mentioned in chat so that you will never miss an important message.

The Chat mod on Lunar Client comes with a built-in profanity filter. Enabling the profanity filter will automatically filter out profane language based on the level that it is set to. You can also import your own custom list of words to filter from chat messages by clicking on the Custom Filter option and then selecting a .txt file that contains a list of words to filter.

On top of these quality-of-life features, the Chat mod also has a few aesthetic modifications that can make your Minecraft chat look a lot nicer. You can change the opacity of the background behind the chat using the Background Opacity slider. You can also add a fluid animation to your chat when new messages appear by enabling the Smooth Chat option. The speed of this animation can be controlled using the Smooth Chat Speed slider. Finally, you can modify the opacity of the input field using the Input Field Opacity slider. Furthermore, you can hide other Lunar Client users’ Lunar Client icons in their nametags using the Show Nametag Icon toggle.

Stopwatch Mod

Have you ever wanted to time a speed run? Or record the amount of time it took for you to complete a parkour? Lunar Client offers a handy Stopwatch mod that adds a functional stopwatch to your Minecraft so that you can time stuff straight from the comfort of Minecraft. The Stopwatch mod can be enabled by going to RShift > Mods > Stopwatch.

The General category mainly provides aesthetic modifications for the tab. Here, you will be able to change the color of the rows as well as the background. You can also enable the Use Ping Color for Row option, which changes the row color of players in tab to reflect their ping. For example, if their ping is higher, their tab row will turn red.

Under the Name Options section, you can decide whether to show the Lunar Client icon beside players who are using Lunar Client in tab via the Show Tab Icon toggle. You can also enable a text-shadow for all Minecraft usernames that are shown on the tab using the Add Shadow for Name option. Finally, you’ll be able to highlight your own name with the Highlight own Name option.

Lastly, the Ping Options segment allows you to customize how ping is disabled on the tab. Hide Ping will remove players’ ping from the tab altogether, while Display Ping as a Number replaces the standard ping icon with a dynamic number that directly reflects a user’s ping.
